6 weeks to 12 mo
The Sunflower Room is for babies 6 weeks to 12 months. The schedule runs on demand, following each baby's own needs. A refrigerator holds premade formula and breastmilk, and a deep freezer keeps a backup supply onsite. The top priority is a first time away from home that feels nurturing and loving.
12-18 mo
In the Rainbow Room, babies and early toddlers from 12 to 18 months work on refining gross and fine motor skills. Teachers put emphasis on early speech and language development. Children explore their environment as they move and play. It is one of two infant classrooms at the center.
18-24 months primarily
The Moonbeam Room houses toddlers 18 to 24 months primarily. They work hard on new word development. They enjoy a lot of story time and outdoor play. The room is one of two toddler rooms at the center, and the day moves with their growing words and busy bodies.
24-36 month old
The Sunshine Room is home to 24 to 36 month olds. Each week focuses on a new topic, and children build language and skills around that idea. They enjoy a lot of outdoor time to explore and learn about the environment. Teachers also guide life skills like sharing, saying please and thank you, and table manners.
3 year old kids
The Butterfly Room, for 3 year olds, begins the preschool classrooms. Children work on self-help skills like dressing and serving their own food, with loving arms and snuggles close by. This room also starts story circle time, name recognition, and verbal spelling.
between 4 and 5 years old
The Teddy Bear Room is the last stop before Kindergarten, for children between 4 and 5 years old. They work on Kindergarten prep skills like cutting and spelling their own names, while keeping the free spirit all children have. They enjoy a lot of large motor time outside to explore nature and use their imaginations.
The Lightning Room is the school age classroom and the before and after school program. For before school care, a CSD bus picks children up each morning and returns them to CCH after the school day. School age kids unwind, enjoy a healthy snack, play with friends, and join activities. Homework help is offered on request.
