Get in touch
Call (315)655-5437. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. If your child is an infant, we will talk with you about the Sunflower Room or the Rainbow Room. We will tell you what is open and what comes next.

Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. In the Sunflower Room, the schedule follows your baby's needs. The Rainbow Room is for babies and early toddlers working on motor skills and early speech. Ask anything while you are there.

Enroll and settle in
Complete your enrollment and plan a first week that fits your child's routine. The Sunflower Room keeps a refrigerator for premade formula and breastmilk, plus a deep freezer for backup milk. Tell us what your child needs, and we will work from there.
What to have ready
Most families bring enrollment forms, a health form with an immunization record, and a list of emergency contacts and people allowed to pick up. Ask us for the forms so you have them in hand. We can tell you what is needed for your child's age.
Pack a change of clothes and outdoor gear for the season. Label everything with your child's name, including bottles. A comfort object from home helps, and the Sunflower Room has space for breastmilk and formula.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up. Talk with us about how you want to hear about your child's day. If your child is an infant, tell us the feeding and nap rhythm you use at home.
The first weeks
At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, slept, and played. In the Sunflower Room, the schedule follows your baby's needs, so you hear how the day actually went. Give it time, and ask us anything along the way.

Can we visit before deciding?
Yes. A tour is how most families decide. Children are encouraged to come along; while you walk through the rooms and ask questions, they can play nearby.
What should my child bring on the first day?
Families usually pack a change of clothes, a comfort item, and bottles or food if needed. Label everything with your child's name. Ask us what else your child's room needs.
How do you handle the first weeks?
Most families start with shorter days and build up as their child gets comfortable. A familiar object from home, like a small blanket or stuffed animal, often helps the child settle. At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, slept, and played.
What does a typical day include?
Days are built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. Infants in the Sunflower Room eat and sleep on demand. Weekly menus are posted on the door, so you can see what your child ate.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Families hear about the day at pickup, and teachers are glad to answer questions then. Weekly menus on the door show what your child ate each day. Ask us how you would like updates for your child's room.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules vary by age group and by what openings we have at the time you ask. Call or stop in and ask what is currently available for your child's age.
What if there is no place right now?
You can ask us to let you know when a place opens for your child's age. Call (315)655-5437 and tell us your child's age.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about the hours, meals, and pickups. Ask how the first weeks are handled and how the day runs in your child's room. Ask what to pack and what the teachers will tell you at the end of the day.
